Key Responsibilities
- Policies and Regulations: Lead the review and advisement on renewable energy policies and regulations, contributing to the strategic objectives in renewable energy development. Ensure that policies align with climate neutrality goals and low-carbon energy sources.
- Competitive Energy Procurement: Provide expertise in competitive energy procurement strategies to maximize the utilization of low-carbon resources and achieve climate neutrality objectives.
- Infrastructure Renovation: Drive the renovation and upgrade of energy infrastructure in accordance with global best practices and sustainability standards.
- Domestic Resource Utilization: Contribute to strategies for providing the power sector with domestic resources to support renewable energy expansion.
- Innovative Solutions: Champion innovative solutions within the energy sector to enhance efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, energy management, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Demonstrated experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects.
- Proven expertise in renewable energy policies, regulations, and procurement strategies.
- Strong knowledge of low-carbon and innovative energy solutions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and achieve strategic objectives.
- Commitment to sustainability and climate neutrality goals.
